For over 25 years, Lockhart Saw Ltd. has been providing top quality products to meet it's customers specific cutting requirements.
Operations began, March 1, 1977 with only 4 employees, Eric Lockhart, his sons Gary & Jack, and his nephew Pat. They ran a distribution and repair shop out of Eric's home.
One year later Lockhart Saw Ltd. moved to the Spruce Lake Industrial Park where they set up offices and a repair facility. In 1987 the Company purchased the Wide Bandsaw Manufacturing Assets of Spear & Jackson Canada Ltd. in Burnaby, B.C. and began manufacturing it's own Wide Bandsaw Blades. Two years later they began producing Circular Carbide Tipped Edger & Trim Saws. In May 1999 Lockhart Saw Ltd moved to their present location at 1172 Fairville Boulevard.
Lockhart Saw Limited, in it's continuing efforts to maintain it's high standard of quality has recently expanded with new CNC Machinery to keep them in the forefront of the Saw Manufacturing Industry. The Company currently has over 20 fulltime employees who are thoroughly trained in the latest techniques in the production and repair of both Circular and Wide Bandsaw Blades. For over 25 years Lockhart Saw Limited has continued to adapt to the ever changing needs of the Forest Industry. Investment in new and more efficient technology continues to be it's focus and it will invest in these technologies to ensure that Quality is it's Number One Priority.
