Erich Thielmann ltd. inc. wire drawing has its headquarter in the Hessian countryside between the Lahn and Dill rivers, approximately 100 km north of Frankfurt
The town of Bad Endbach is a popular health resort and is situated at the foothills of the ¡°Rothaar¡± mountains at an altitude of 300-500 meters. Bad Endbach is favourably situated as traffic wires close to the cities of Marburg, Giessen, Wetzlar, Herborn and Dillenburg.
The founder of our company, Erich Thielmann, was educated in a wire drawing mill in 1949. After15 years of professional experience in the production of wire drawing tools, he became self-employed and founded his own company.
As recently as 40 years ago wire drawing dies were produced completely different than today. At that time, in the process of drilling the diamonds, the paralell-sidedly ground stones were centre punched with diamond points and mechanically drilled with diamond powder and sewing needles. As early as 1965 Erich Thielmann ltd. inc. produced their wire drawing dies by means of ultrasonics and in the year 1981 the production was converted to laser drilling.
Within our more than 35 years in the business,we have acquired a growing number of regular customers who appreciate our reliability and quality standards.
