Our company history can be traced back to the early 1970s in the heart of London's East, when it was known as Baxter and Fraulo. The business was a partnership between Johns Fraulo and Baxter, who were both well-known personalities within the woodworking industry. It mainly supplied abrasives and thrived among the abundant reproduction furniture manufacturers based in East London at that time. Progression into the adhesive field was natural, as customers wanted a reliable local source for their adhesive products.
The business is now run by Suzanne Fraulo, who became managing director in 1990. In 1997 Baxter and Fraulo acquired Hallmark Adhesives, a competitor specialising in adhesives, being Borden Chemicals largest U.K. distributor for their urea formaldehyde resins and polyvinyl acetates.
Now a wealth of technical and field experience is combined within the one company Hallmark Fraulo. Shortly after it was created, we moved to spacious, purpose built premises in Nazeing, Essex, from where we operate today.
