"The 1st Zhengzhou International Forum of Belt Grinding Technology and Equipment” is opening on Nov 16, hosted by Coated Abrasives Sub-Association of CMTBA, Chongqing University and Henan University of Technology.

People in this field are looking forward to its coming for a long time. The forum attracts exhibitors and visitors at home and abroad from coated abrasives industry chain. There’re almost 300 representatives in the field of science and technology, producing and manufacturing, raw material supplying, equipment manufacturing and the application.

The 1st International Forum of Belt Grinding Technology and Equipment is opening officially at 8:30. Many experts and famous people in this field present on the platform, including Zhu Shendi, general engineer of original ministry of machine building and special counselor of China Engineer Industry Federation; Mao Yufeng, executive vice president of CMTBA, Hu Aili, president of Coated Abrasives Association; Liu Qing, vice president Chongqing University; Zhang Yuan, President of Henan University of Technology; Liu Mingyao, vice general manager of SINOMACH Precision Tools Ltd and Zhengzhou Research Director for Abrasives & Grinding; Dr. H. -J. Dern, general manager of HJD Technology Consulting Company; Kraig Adam Kutz, technology R & D director of Sheldahl, Wang Mingyuan, secretary-general of Coated Abrasives Association.

Mao Yufeng, deputy secretary general of CMTBA maks speeches firstly, he said “Coated abrasives industry is irreplaceable as the grinding method although it is small part in the whole industry. Coated abrasives function is absolutely necessary with the professionalization, precision and intelligence of world manufacturing. The progress and improvement of coated abrasives is urgent for meeting the demand of manufacturing. It is right time to hold the international forum, a very meaningful exploration and guidance, which must play an important role in promoting technological progress and upgrading and transformation of the industry.” And he specaks highly of this forum.

Zhu Shendi, general engineer of original ministry of machine building and special counselor of China Engineer Industry Federation, makes the first main speeches “How to rapidly develop the advanced manufacturing of our country and promote upgrading and transformation of equipment manufacturing”. The report talked about the industry background, four transformations and six point of strength, the method and principle line to realize upgrading and transformation, key point of development. It includes large information and plays great significance in strengthening the upgrading and transformation, how to develop our enterprises and industry, how to adjust products structure and how to break technology difficulties.

Huang Yun, the professor of school of mechanical engineering of Chongqing University, makes the report "Grinding technology and engineering application of high-efficiency, precision and intelligent". He has many years experiences of belt grinding research and development. The report introduces a series of research achievements and the application as for the technology development of high-efficiency, precision and intelligent belt grinding and the designing, research and manufacturing of grinding machine. These achievements promote the development of aerospace, automotive and energy and also show the important role of belt grinding in national economy. He generally describes the bright prospective of belt grinding upgrading, which play an important role in development of belt grinding machine.

Zou Wenjun, dean of the school of materials and science and engineering, Henan University of Technology, makes the report “The present state and perspectives of Chinese coated abrasives industry, introducing the present state of coated abrasives industry and achievements of technology, showing the development situation of the whole industry in recent years. The progress and achievements closely relate to effort of entrepreneurs, experts and professors.

Dr. H. -J. Dern, general manager of Germany HJD Technology Consulting Company, make the report “ Revolution in Abrasives?”. He firstly analyzes the industry revolution, and then how to make the strategies of survival and development while enterprises face the risks and crisis, and finally put forward advices and suggestions for the present situation of the industry.
