For the future alumina market, experts believe that the average price of alumina in 2017 will be better than in 2016. At least, alumina prices still have strong support before the next March. Although it can't continue to rise, but will remain high over the cost.

After March, large alumina enterprises may still be possible to speed up the expansion and the production because of the prominent profit. Once aluminum prices decrease, alumina prices will have to stand downward pressure. Throughout the year as a whole, the average price of alumina will be better than in 2016, and enterprises’ profits will be also better than in 2016.

How about the prices of alumina next year? Next year, alumina cost price will be around 2350 Yuan based on the current data, and the market price fluctuation interval of the whole year will be around ±200 Yuan. According to current supply and demand balance data, the average price of alumina enterprises is expected to remain running above 2350 Yuan in 2017, which will bring more profits.
