The 7th Annual World Scrap Metal Congress 2011, which organized by Terrapinn from Singapore and co-organized by Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Trade Association, was held on November 1st - 4th, 2011 at Le Royal Meridien Shanghai. More than 30 top scrap steel buyers from Asia and other countries and regions introduced their purchasing strategies and demand forecast for the coming 5 years. About 200 industry professionals and company representatives attended the congress. Chief Executive Officer of China Armco Metals, Inc., Mr. Kexuan Yao received gracious invitation to the congress to give a speech on Chinese scrap steel industry. During the meeting, Mr. Yao spoke about government policies' impact on the scrap steel industry, proposed the current situation, problems and difficulties faced by the renewable resources industries, and made recommendations on solutions. His speech aroused strong sympathy from the audiences.
